Versace Spring-Summer 2023 Women’s | Fashion Show | Versace

She wears leather, studs and frayed denim and she has enough attitude to mix them with chiffon, jersey, and a tiara! She is a strong liberated woman; she is gorgeous; she knows it. She is the Goddess of Freedom.” — Donatella Versace A dark gothic goddess. That's the woman in mind this season. Black, purple, and hints of fuchsia are the colors running through the whole collection, coming together in looks both high-glamour and hard-edged, diva and subversive. Singular slashes cut across dresses and tops, while a series of precision cuts come together as graphic pattern details. Tough leather becomes fringing across biker jackets, leather pants and skirts. Jackets are worn over cascading chiffon dresses and skirts with macramé flourishes, creating a clash of structured and fluid forms, composure and impulsion. Slinky silhouette-enhancing dresses are finished in shiny metallic jersey. Shaggy, fur-like coats and miniskirts are crafted from upcycled production off-cut chiffon and lace in an environmentally responsible approach. Metal studs are full-on, covering leather pants and jackets, and piercing through delicate lace in a play with material contrast. Prints have a brooding glow in the collection’s colors of dark orchid purple and tropical pink. The multi-logo ‘Versace on Repeat’ print, and floral and zebra patterns interplay and are incorporated into laminated lace, fil coupé, intarsia, or metal stud finishes. Bags in the La Medusa line, including La Medusa Repeat, the re-edition hobo bag style introduced for Resort 2023, take-on the collection’s stud, leather fringe, and mirror material finishes, while the classical elegance of the Greca Goddess bag is made utterly contemporary in new glossy green and purple colors. Bach - The Art of Fugue BWV 1080 - Sato | Netherlands Bach Society

Bach’s Kunst der Fuge is shrouded in mystery. We don’t know whether Bach intended the music as material for practice or performance. The order of the 18 sections is unclear as well and we don’t know whether the piece was ever completed. Shunske Sato made his own instrumentation for the Netherlands Bach Society. “I wanted to bring out the many colours of the work and of my ensemble. Every fugue has its own character. On the basis of the rhythm, time and chromatic lines, etc., you can determine which instrument is most suitable. I’ve studied each part very carefully, in order to decide which instruments are best to use. I wanted the whole Netherlands Bach Society to be heard, so the singers are taking part as well. They sing without words, to vowel sounds. When you introduce singers to the Art of Fugue, you can hardly ignore the example of the Swingle Singers. The sung Contrapunctus 9 is intended as a tribute to their great recording." SR Klassik am See 2021: "Wien, nur du allein" - aus Losheim am See im Sa...

Aufzeichnung vom 03.07.2021 Klassik-Open Air der Deutschen Radio Philharmonie vor der Kulisse des Losheimer Stausees. Gespielt werden Wiener Lieder und Operetten von Franz Léhar und Emmerich Kálmán, die„Donner und Blitz“-Polka von Johann Strauß und vieles mehr, es dirigiert Karen Kamensek. Mit Operettenschmankerln von Franz Léhar und Emmerich Kálmán, mit der „Donner und Blitz“-Polka von Johann Strauß, mit Wiener-Liedern wie „Im Prater blühn wieder die Bäume“ oder „Wien wird schön erst bei Nacht“ geht es bei "SR Klassik am See" in die goldene Zeit der Wiener Musik. Charmant und mit einem Schuss Ironie führt der Kult-Moderator des Wiener Opernballs, Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz, durch das Programm. Am Pult der Deutschen Radio Philharmonie steht die US-Amerikanerin Karen Kamensek. Sie ist zu Hause auf Opern- und Konzertbühnen rund um den Globus, sie hat selbst zeitweise in Wien gelebt und jetzt heißt es „Welcome to Losheim, dear Karen!“ Mit ihr steht ein Solisten-Aufgebot bereit, das ebenso große Erwartungen weckt: die Sopranistin Cornelia Horak, der Tenor Jörg Schneider und die Geigerin Franziska Hölscher.

An opera gala that matches every superlative: Some of the world’s best opera singers from the classical music scene are presenting a variety of the most popular Bel Canto Arias. They will be accompanied by members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Harmonia Symphony Orchestra, a youth orchestra from Peru, under the baton of Ukrainian conductor Andrii Yurkevych. The opera gala took place in 2015 in the Vienna State Opera, and was also a fundraising event with the motto: Juan Diego Flórez and Friends in Concert for Sinfonía por el Perú. The non-profit organization Sinfonía por el Perú was founded in 2011, and has the goal of making a positive difference to the lives of thousands of underprivileged children and young people all over Peru through music education. Juan Diego Flórez directs the Sinfonía por el Perú, and comes himself from the Latin American country. To help support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, the Peruvian tenor has also established the Friends of Juan Diego Flórez Foundation. The finale of the opera gala, which Flórez introduces with a touching acceptance speech, could hardly be more thrilling. Neujahrskonzert 2021 der Oper Graz - „La Dolce Vita“

Der Titel „La Dolce Vita“ ist beim Neujahrskonzert der Grazer Philharmoniker unter der Leitung von Chefdirigent Roland Kluttig Programm: Von Tschaikowskis „Capriccio italien“, Ponchiellis „Tanz der Stunden“ und dem berühmten „Intermezzo“ aus Mascagnis Oper „Cavalleria Rusticana“ bis hin zu verschmitzter Opernmusik für Flöte und Oboe nach Gioachino Rossini ist alles vertreten. Für besonderes Italien-Feeling sorgen die Filmmusiken von Nino Rota aus Klassikern wie „La Dolce Vita“ und „Der Pate“ sowie der junge, in Italien ausgebildete Tenor Piotr Buszewksi. Er singt in italienischen Canzoni von Jugendträumen, von Liebesliedern, die die „Mamma“ verboten hat und von der Sonne und dem Wein Neapels.
