Portalcienciayficcion.com es una comunidad en castellano de ciencia y ciencia ficción, creada a finales del 2009. Ha sido concebida como una plataforma gratuita a disposición de personas interesadas en dar a conocer sus trabajos; ya sea publicando parte o la totalidad de algunas de sus obras, como publicitándolas mediante artículos, entrevistas, etc… También se pretende informar sobre un amplio abanico de disciplinas y materias con el mayor rigor posible (tanto científicas como de entretenimiento futurista), así como ofrecer descargas y foros de debate y opinión (entre otras cosas). El origen y funcionamiento del universo es tan misterioso que prácticamente cualquier teoría más o menos fundamentada en principios físicos puede sostenerse.
