Versace Spring Summer 2022 | Fashion Show

The #VersaceSS22 collection is built from Versace’s iconic silk foulard. “The foulard is a fundamental component of Versace’s heritage and character. It’s acted as a canvas for our iconic prints and is worn in multiple ways from knotted tops to headscarves to bag accessories, it’s a way of adding Versace attitude to any look. The foulard has been with us since the very beginning of the brand, but this season turns everything on its head, it is no longer fluid or dreamy, the scarf is provocative, sexy, wound tight.” Donatella Versace The transformational nature of the scarf means it can become anything, from billowing shirts to sexy, shrunken-fit dresses. Combined with iconographical prints, the designs feel thrown together, unfinished and unpolished. It’s as if the pieces have been ripped apart and rapidly stitched back together again. Slashes in the garments are haphazardly fastened together by the brand’s iconic Safety Pins. Modernized in a selection of vibrant colors, the Safety Pins become both functional fastening and bold embellishment. Scarves tightly wrap the body and are punctuated by seemingly randomly placed hardware. A textural diversion comes in the form of sleek latex dresses, tops and skirts in a shocking palette. Ornate prints are a defining feature of the Versace foulard. This season there’s a celebration of brand code La Greca, as well as fresh designs. Royal Rebellion presents crowns and crests in bold colorways, and Banquet Aftermath features dishes and cutlery from the Versace Home collection - the cutlery is also translated to knife and fork jewelry. Acid Bouquet is Versace’s answer to spring florals and is characteristically unromantic in clashing acid tones. Menswear also stems from the foulard and presents relaxed, loose-fit pieces in printed silk. A fundamental principle of Versace menswear is the silk shirt, which originally evolved from the printed scarf. Relaxed shirting and pajama sets are clashed against form-fitting activewear, skintight latex and flirty handkerchief tops. Sharp tailoring is presented in fluo tones of yellow, orange, pink and blue. New silhouettes and shades are introduced to the La Medusa handbag line, including a large open tote and a drawstring-top bucket style, both with embedded chain details. There are also new colorways of the La Greca Signature line. Scarves are attached to handles and draped from bags, tying the accessories line-up to the vibrant foulard-inspired collection.

El artista argentino Ricardo Mosner, conductor de ‘El colectivo’

Este martes se inaugura en la Maison de l’Argentine, la casa de Argentina de la Cité Internacional de París, una exposición de ‘El colectivo’, asociación de destacados artistas argentinos en Francia. Para hablarnos de esta exposición y de los 15 años de El colectivo Ricardo Mosner, fundador de El Colectiv, ha estado hoy con Jordi Batallé en El invitado de RFI.

La “burbuja de deformación”, el nuevo descubrimiento con el que la NASA podría llegar a viajar a la velocidad de la luz






El Doctor Harold White, pionero y especialista en impulsores de deformación de la NASA, ha informado sobre la manifestación con éxito de una “warp bubble” o “burbuja de deformación”. Y, según White, este primer avance establece un nuevo punto de partida para aquellos que intentan fabricar una nave espacial de tamaño completo con capacidad “warp”. “Para ser claros, nuestro hallazgo no es un análogo de la burbuja de deformación, es una burbuja de deformación real, aunque humilde pequeña”, dijo White a la revista de ciencia tecnología The Debrief”. Este descubrimiento encaja con la solución, propuesta por el matemático Miguel Alcubierre, para viajar más rápido que la luz, sin violar las teorías de la física actuales, a través de impulsos de deformación. Es un descubrimiento que, en un futuro no muy lejano, puede acortar los tiempos de vuelo espacial y llevarnos a otros sistemas planetarios inalcanzables hoy en día.

Mozart with a twinkle in his eye: The Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major (K. 219) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, played by Nikolaj Znaider (violin), accompanied by the Staatskapelle Berlin and conducted by Julien Salemkour. Rondeau Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 - 1791) is known for being a great piano virtuoso. In his early years, Mozart also gave violin concerts, and between 1773 and 1775 he composed five violin concertos, one of which is Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major, the most famous and most beautiful. Written in December 1775, when Mozart had just turned 19, it shows his familiarity with the stringed instrument. There are two ideas in particular that Mozart had which help characterize his Violin Concerto No. 5. The first is the initial time the solo violin plays, because it does not follow the tune of the orchestra, instead preferring to lose itself in a dreamy, improvized manner, before finally following the orchestra’s lead. However, that initial dreamy meander remains somewhat lost and unanswered. The third movement, Rondeau, is also noteworthy, because the ‘Alla turca’ movement is framed by a minuet. The minuet’s theme, which compromises of one of Mozart’s best known melodies as it seems sweet and has something dance-like to it, changes abruptly into a march with far more straight-laced melodies, and a stricter rhythm. Supposedly a Turkish march, Mozart had in fact already pencilled it down three years earlier, under the name ‘Le gelosie del Serraglio’. The ballet music had actually been composed to be part of an opera, but as Mozart never completed this opera, the ‘Alla turca’ music instead found itself way into his fifth violin concerto. Perhaps even more amazing is that the melody originates in an old Hungarian folk tune. Nikolaj Znaider plays Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5 with almost oblivious passion, at times combining it with a twinkle in his eye with the pleasure of the performance. Born in Copenhagen, Znaider is of Polish/Jewish heritage, and his full name is Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider. He is the recipient of many awards, including the Echo Klassik 2004. As a conductor, Szeps-Znaider has led countless orchestras, including for example the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra. His discography includes numerous violin concertos, ranging from Mozart to Beethoven to Brahms and to Elgar. Szeps-Znaiders’s personal violin is a Guarneri ‘del Gesu’ from 1741, which was formerly played by renowned violinist Fritz Kreisler, among others.
