Chinese conductor Elim Chan was the first ever female winner of the Donatella Flick Conduction Competition. In the Royal Concertgebouw of Amsterdam she leads the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra through Rimsky-Korsakov's oriental fairytale 'Sheherazade Op. 35'.
