An extraordinary musical encounter. Alondra de la Parra and Lila Downs come from Mexico, Concha Buika and Pitingo from Spain. Together they are giving a special concert in Mexico City. "Olé México" is a musical encounter celebrating the friendship between Mexico and Spain. The program at the Centro Cultural Ollin Yoliztli includes traditional Mexican and Spanish songs, accompanied by the Orquesta Sinfónica de Minería. Behind the scenes, Musica Maestra Alondra de la Parra conducts extensive interviews with Lila Downs, Concha Buika, and Pitingo. Pitingo lets her in on the secrets of the bulerías – a special form of flamenco.
