Vivaldi's [Uncertain] Four Seasons - Live From Delos – ARTE Concert

The uninhabited island of Delos in the Greek Aegean Sea provides a stunning backdrop for a very special performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. The European Union Youth Orchestra together with violinist Diana Tishchenko (violin) and Greek lyre virtuoso Sokratis Sinopoulos perform on 30 May 2022 - ARTE's 30th birthday The open-air concert is part of a worldwide project: In The (uncertain) Four Seasons, more than a dozen professional orchestras in various regions of the world are participating in performing Vivaldi's Four Seasons in regionally specific variants that incorporate in their compositions the expected climatic changes for the year 2050. The project takes place within the framework of the United Nations ActNow Campaign to Save the Climate and is an initiative of the World Human Forum.
